Katarina Witt was born the 3rd of December in Staaken East Germany. On her quest for new challenges Witt keeps expanding and learn new skills in the fields of figure skating, as also producing, performing acting, and writing. Katarina Witt has ended her successful amateur life for the moment after the 1988 World Championships. After a period of three years, Witt will coheadline her debut as a professional in Canada as well as the United States with World Champion Brian Boitano. The show has been such a success that Madison Square Garden, New York is sold out of a performance of skating for the first time in the last 10 years. The Olympic Games held in Lillehammer 1994 was her third time in the Olympic Games. After touring across the US for ten years as the guest star in "Stars on Ice", she also participated in international professional competitions. As a producer with her company WITT, she's in charge for numerous international ice-based shows which are designed, created, headlined and produced. They set new standards for the skating industry through live shows such as "Divas On Ice", 'Katarina & Friends"' Enjoy the stars, and Winter Magic for US television and German broadcasters.
